Take a walk in Longwood Gardens
You can’t visit Philadelphia without seeing the famous Longwood Gardens. Over 1,000 acres of lush gardens, meandering meadows, woodlands and breathtaking vistas. Head to the Delaware River waterfront
Philly’s famous and ever-evolving waterfront is a delightful destination any time of the year. Pop in at Franklin Square
One of the original five public squares designed by William Penn, Franklin Square is home to a classic carousel, a Philly-themed mini golf course, and more. Visit its historic fountain (dating back to 1838 and renovated in 2019), perhaps after a tour of the historic Independence Hall and photo op at the Liberty Bell, both of which are just a few blocks away.
Franklin Square also hosts events throughout the year and is well worth visiting during the Chinese Lantern Festival, when dozens of lit up displays including seascapes, pandas, and an epic dragon are arranged throughout the square. It’s a sight to see!
