Our Story

It was the Eagles bye week and we were looking for something fun to do.  We googled some ideas and landed on a Wine Tour.  We scheduled 3 wineries to visit and actually stumbled upon Borderland Vineyard while headed to our second winery.

We had rented a Stretch Limousine and 6 of us planned an entire day of tasting and food.  Having a professional chauffeur allowed us the chance to focus on the wine and the music.

About Borderland Vineyard

Borderland Vineyard is located on Fall Line Farm, 66 acres of fields, streams and woodlands.  In 2008, they planted their first vines.  Today, the vineyard produces Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon Blanc and are experimenting with Malbec and Syrah.

Our Wine Tour at Borderland Vineyard

As our visit wasn’t scheduled, we simply headed into the tasting Room and got a chance to taste some of their amazing reds, with their merlot being the groups favorite.  The staff was amazingly friendly and he family story behind the wine was very interesting.

While we only stayed for about an hour, we got a chance to really enjoy ourselves.  Sometimes the unplanned make for the best tastings.

If you are considering booking a Wine Tour with Kevin Smith Transportation Group, know that there are many vehicle options to choose from.

Stretch Limousines

Kevin Smith Transportation Group offers a variety of stretch limousine options when we called them.  They included Lincoln MKT’s that could handle up to 8 passengers and a gorgeous white Stretch Denali that could handle up to 18 passengers.

Party Buses

When we called, the Party Bus options were amazing.  Besides all of the extra space you get, the music, televisions and other features made it a really nice option.  The coolest option was that they have Party Buses for groups of to 28.  For those people planning a Wine Tour for a large group, these are perfect.
