Our Story

It was an Eagles Monday night weekend so what better way to spend some time with my wife on a Sunday then by scheduling a Wine Tour! So when I suggested it to two of my buddies, they quickly jumped in on it.

We went online to check out wineries and thought the information Buckingham Valley Vineyards showed regarding their Sunday setup seemed like a lot of fun.

Buckingham Valley Vineyards

Buckingham Valley Vineyards has been producing Bucks County wines and champagnes since 1966. While the wine is amazing, they are uniquely known for providing customized and personalized wine labels for personal and business use.

Buckingham Valley Vineyards offers nearly two dozen wines, ranging from deep colored oak, aged reds to light whites. While most wines come from grapes, they also incorporate apples, strawberries, blackberries, and raspberries.

Our Wine Tour

We booked a stretch limousine with Kevin Smith Transportation Group as nobody wanted to drink and drive. As there was 6 of us, the 8 seat Lincoln MKT was our choice. The one we ended up with was less than 18 months old and it was perfect.

It arrived at 11 am to pick us up. The chauffeur was helpful with loading in some of the beverages and snacks we wanted to bring with us and took the time to teach us how to use the lights and music system.

We had about a 45-minute ride from our house and it really was very relaxing. We were almost sad when we arrived as we didn’t want to get out. I should say, we were sad until we got out and saw the facilities.

We settled on a self-guided tour, taking our time as we meandered our way through the complex. However, we did encounter many staff and they were quick to answer a question or provide us with some assistance.

The slushies were as advertised and the champagne was really good as well. We spent what I would call a lazy 4 hours at the winery and when he headed back to the limo, we all agreed the day was awesome.

After an afternoon of drinking, it was nice to be chauffeured home and we all agreed a return visit to the winery was on our list (after football season of course!).

Fun Facts about Buckingham Valley Vineyard

Buckingham Valley Vineyard offers wine slushies daily, with flavors ranging from pinot colada, black raspberry, strawberry lemonade and more. They even sell a reusable cup!

On Sundays. They specialize in mimosas and their very own champagne. They offer live entertainment most weekends and offer picnic tables and light snacks to go along with the tastings.

They harvest through September and early October and use a French-made mechanical harvester. You can visit the wine cellar and they also offer self-guided wine tours so you can go at your own pace.

They also do tastings for as little as $5 and you can sample up to 8 wines and you can keep the glass! As they are part of the Bucks County Wine Trail, Buckingham Valley Vineyard is a great addition to your list if you are touring multiple wineries in Bucks County.

Transportation Options

If you are considering booking a Wine Tour with Kevin Smith Transportation Group, know that there are many vehicle options to choose from.

Stretch Limousines

Kevin Smith Transportation Group offers a variety of stretch limousine options when we called them. They included Lincoln MKT’s that could handle up to 8 passengers and a gorgeous white Stretch Denali that could handle up to 18 passengers.

Party Buses

When we called, the Party Bus options were amazing. Besides all of the extra space you get, the music, televisions and other features made it a really nice option. The coolest option was that they have Party Buses for groups of to 28. For those people planning a Wine Tour for a large group, these are perfect.

Luxury Sedans and SUV’s

For smaller groups or couples, a luxury sedan or SUV is perfect. You don’t have to worry about driving while tasting all of the amazing wines that are offered at the Pennsylvania Wineries and you can simply sit back, relax and enjoy the entire experience.

Last Words

With so many wineries in the area, I can see how it would be hard to pick one to visit. So I would recommend visiting more than one but definitely keep Buckingham Valley Vineyard on the top of your list.
