Thesis

A Philadelphia, PA based company had more than two dozen sales people that regularly traveled across the country and across the globe.  Newark Airport was commonly used and they required a more consistent transportation solution than what they were receiving today.

Their existing provider continued to struggle with response times, had difficulty working around traditional flight delays and the chauffeurs seemed more irritated than helpful when it came to working with weary travelers.

Their goal was to identify a single partner who had the bandwidth ad the experience to deliver exceptional service to their entire employee base.

Key Challenge

Newark Airport can be fickle at times and this client needed a ground transportation partner who could handle the demands of the volume and the flexibility of the arrival times.  Their existing supplier simply wasn’t delivering.

It turned out their current supplier had very little experience with this market.  They were getting numerous complaints from their employees and needed to put in place a better solution.

Proposed Solution

When we first met with the client, they were forthright in sharing their current experiences.  We then proposed a couple of immediate improvements.  First, their volume allowed for us to dedicate 3 chauffeurs to their business with another 5 as secondary chauffeurs.

We brought all 8 to their offices and met with their team.  We felt there was value in everyone meeting each other.  We discussed travel patterns, preferences and common drop-off points.  We turned the sales meeting more into an implementation meeting.

Simply by listening to their issues and applying actual solutions to their business, we were able to quickly and efficiently turn a pain point (Newark Airport Transportation) into a win.
