Thesis and Solution

A global recruiting firm had just onboarded a large client that would need more than 25 positions filled in the Philadelphia area over the next 12 months.  They needed a luxury transportation partner that could provide a level of service that could deliver on the overall experience they wanted to provide to perspective job candidates.

They needed a partner that could handle the volume and had the ability to be flexible both on short term requests and on bookings that went long.  They also wanted a company that had a team of Chauffeurs who were familiar with the area as selling Philadelphia and the suburbs was part of the job.

They also wanted a single partner, so that they could work closely with one company day to day.  So they would also require a dedicated Relationship Manager to manage the relationship from the transportation side. 

Key Challenge

They were an internationally recognized recruiting firm and they needed a transportation company that could match their reputation.  They had secret shopped a few companies and had minimal success.  They would have one shot with their new client so it had to go perfect.

Alternatives

They had very few alternatives.  They could continue to try and engage local companies but would likely have mixed results.  Or, they could run an RFP where the focus would be on quality first and spend their time properly vetting each company.

Ultimately, due to time constraints, they chose the next best thing, going into the field and meeting with 10 companies.  It allowed them to advance the timeline and focus on what was important to them, the people and the level of service.

Proposed Solution

We provided them with a detailed solution that included a dedicated Relationship Manager, a newly purchased and dedicated fleet and a short list of Chauffeurs who they would have access to.

Included would be weekly calls to discuss bookings, a customized set of KPI’s to measure our performance (built by KSTG and approved by our client) and quarterly business reviews to identify opportunities to advance the program.

Lessons Learned

Working with recruiting agencies means every booking has 3 clients, including the person being recruited, the company recruiting them and the recruiting firm.  The ability to deliver to this level is unique and has allowed us to provide the lessons learned to other clients in this space.
