Our Story
Sometimes you just need a Girls Night Out. That was our story. Ditch the husbands and the kids and head out for a day of fun and laughter. For us, we knew right away that we wanted to do a wine tour. We like our wine!
After researching online, we landed on Rose Bank Winery. Once we selected them, we called Kevin Smith Transportation Group. They are well known in the area and two of us had been on their vehicles before through other people’s bookings (a wedding and a bachelorette party).
Rose Bank Winery
Rose Bank Winery is dripping in history. Located in the heart of Bucks County, it sits on land once owned by William Penn and deeded to his daughters. It was purchased in 2001 by the Fleming Family.

Our Wine Tour
We had a wine tasting scheduled for 1pm so we all met at my house around 11am to “prep”. At 12:15pm, a gorgeous Party Bus pulled up in front of my house. As we stepped in, it felt like we were on a rolling nightclub!
The chauffeur showed us how to use all of the electronics (TV’s, music, etc.) and then while we settled in, he brought on board some snacks and beverages we were bringing with us. Once it was all put away, off we went.
The ride over was a blast. We relaxed, caught up with each other and talked about what we might expect at Rose Bank Winery. With 16 of us attending the tasting, there was a lot of excitement as to what we were going to experience.
We arrived and were immediately met by one of their staff. They led us to our table where we proceeded to be overwhelmed!
Over the course of the next 90 minutes, we sampled 7 of their wines, everything from French infused crispy and fruity reds to amazing red and white American styled wines. The range on the palate was amazing.
Paired with the wines were local cheeses, specialty crackers, pretzels and chocolates. They answered all of our questions about the wines (and we had a lot!) and really let us take our time through the tasting.
When we were finished, we found out we weren’t. They sent us into the Tasting Room with 3 tickets each to try 3 more wines. It was a great transition and it is fair to say we loaded a few cases of their wines onto the Party Bus for the way back.
We left looking forward to coming back and decided to engage the “night club” atmosphere of the Party Bus. To say there was some singing and dancing would be an understatement. An amazing and safe way to end the day by being chauffeured back home.
Fun Facts about Rose Bank Winery
While Rose Bank Winery is a great place to visit with a small group for a wine tasting, they offer many other amenities I didn’t know about until we visited.
They host larger events at their facilities as well, including meetings, weddings, showers and even reunions. They have 3 unique “ballrooms” and each is sort of a blank canvas to do what you want with.
They produce and bottle all of their wines in Newtown, PA, making them a truly local winery. They host a lot of unique events throughout the year, including “Yoga and Wine” and in December, the Handmade Artisan Markets.
Transportation Options
If you are considering booking a Wine Tour with Kevin Smith Transportation Group, know that there are many vehicle options to choose from.
Stretch Limousines
Kevin Smith Transportation Group offers a variety of stretch limousine options when we called them. They included Lincoln MKT’s that could handle up to 8 passengers and a gorgeous white Stretch Denali that could handle up to 18 passengers.
Party Buses
When we called, the Party Bus options were amazing. Besides all of the extra space you get, the music, televisions and other features made it a really nice option. The coolest option was that they have Party Buses for groups of to 28. For those people planning a Wine Tour for a large group, these are perfect.
Luxury Sedans and SUV’s
For smaller groups or couples, a luxury sedan or SUV is perfect. You don’t have to worry about driving while tasting all of the amazing wines that are offered at the Pennsylvania Wineries and you can simply sit back, relax and enjoy the entire experience.
Last Words
With so many wineries to choose from, we were glad we found one that really appealed to us. Their wines are amazing and their staff is great to work with. If you are looking for something different, I would strongly suggest a tasting at Rose Bank Winery.
