Every year, Spring Break rolls around and if you’re like most people, time is running short to plan a vacation. If you’re planning on taking a vacation with the kids while they’re off from school for a week, now’s the time to get your plans in motion.

While many people tend to take their families to popular destinations such as Florida theme parks or New York City, there are so many other places out there for you to travel to. Whether you’re looking for a sunny destination, or something a little quieter and peaceful, there is someplace out there for every family. Here are some ideas.

Skiing and Snow

Do you have a family who loves winter sports? Hop on a charter bus and hit the slopes! Going someplace like Smugglers’ Notch in Vermont would be the perfect way to get your family and yourself off the couch for an entire week.

It’s a great way to exercise and the perfect way to bring the family closer together. Sipping on a nice cup, or two, of hot cocoa at the end of the day, is the perfect way to round out a fun day of skiing, sliding, and maybe slipping!

Outer Banks

Another place to head to on the charter buses for spring break is the Outer BanksThe Outer Banks are full of amazing rental options for you and your family. You’ll be able to experience an early taste of summer weather while saving money while traveling off-season.

Sunshine and Water

If you can’t resist the sun, sand, and waves, rent a charter bus and have it take you to a place with sun, fun and a beach! Places such as Indiana Dunes National Shoreline, or a warm place one on one of the great Michigan Lakes can’t be beat.

Unlike the standard Florida or Mexico that many families will be visiting, some of the beaches in Indiana may be a little less popular doing the spring break season. Along with the water, you can visit the many shops and eat some delicious food. It’s a great way to help your children become more diverse as well!

Say goodbye to the standard Disney World and hello to someplace new! Keep the places listed above in mind when planning your trip. Also, be sure to travel via charter buses, since Motor Coach travel and tourist demand brings in more than $55 billion annually in economic transactions. Clearly, it’s a popular option and the best way to travel.
